Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast was once a part of the Fierce Five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics she won gold in both team floor as well as the individual competitions. Bronze was taken by the balance bar. This meant that she was the very first American at the Olympics with the highest number of medals. She took gold for team during the 2016 Olympics, which also made her and Gabby Douglas the first Americans to have back-to-back golds. She also won silver medals for the individual all-around and for the floor workout. She took a three-year break between each Olympics from competing gymnastics. Also, she was a one of the gold medal winning American teams at two World Championships. The gymnastics classes began at the age of 2 and enjoys the floor workout. Aly works with her organization, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization to honor and remember her grandmother. As for the future, she plans to make a career from fashion. She would also like to increase the length of her leotards and socks. The book she is working on is called Fierce that will be released in the coming months.
